Our Focus
- A small number of clients for each Churchfield Director
- A fee structure that rewards successful sales
- Knowing where we add value
A Small Number of Clients
We do this by ensuring that at any moment in time each Churchfield Director is only representing a small number of clients with strong businesses which we believe are going to be attractive to potential purchasers. We then work closely with our clients, usually over the course of many months, to achieve a sale.
We believe that this partnership approach is essential since the sales process is often challenging and requires experience and committed effort from both ourselves and our clients.
Unlike some brokers we do not have hundreds of clients on our books…
Every business is unique and every single sale is extremely important to the future of the person who has decided to sell their business. The business reflects the culmination of years of hard work and determination of the seller and often gives them the cash they need to retire or live the lifestyle that they have dreamed about.
When the time comes to sell we believe that our approach is most suited for this life changing event.
A Fee Structure That Rewards Successful Sales
As we do not sign up hundreds of clients we do not see these upfront fees as a revenue stream, unlike some brokers/agents.
Completing the sale of the business delivers the rewards – both for our clients and ourselves.

Sectors That We Do Not Operate Within
Our approach is not suited to all types of businesses. Certain businesses are likely to sell better with a more straightforward advertising approach, so we don’t get involved in these sectors because we don’t add much value. The main sectors that we don’t work in include retail/shops, restaurants, pubs, hotels and franchises.
